Cover design is a process, here’s ours

  • Concept & Idea

    Your book could look a lot of different ways. Together, we’ll explore the essence of colors, symbols, images, and words that accurately communicate the message and feeling of your book.

  • Visual Direction

    We’ll translate our core concept into a defined aesthetic lane: typography, tone, composition, and emotional positioning. You’ll get to see a mood-board and mockups of where we’re going.

  • Design

    Now it’s time to play. We’ll take your selected direction into one or more fully realized cover options.

    Together, we’ll refine the details until it feels right and communicates clearly.

  • Layout

    Once we’ve decided on our favorite cover option, we’ll format it for readability, different sizes, and platform requirements. You’ll get to select hardcover, paperback, and digital versions. We’ll prepare every file for print and digital release with precision.

Cover Design Packages

All packages include covers for eBook and paperback formats. Hardcover, audiobook + special formats are an additional cost.

Trickster’s Choice — $800

You relinquish creative control entirely.

We and our designers make all decisions—from concept to final execution. No approvals, no revisions-by-committee, no paralysis.

This is for authors who trust our taste and don’t want to make any unnecessary creative decisions.

Collaborative Choice— $1,500

You give input and feedback, and we lead the execution.

You get to:

  • Feedback our concept explorations

  • Choose from 2-3 design directions

This is structured collaboration without creative overwhelm. You stay involved, but have fewer decisions to make.

You Decide, We Design — $3,000+

You direct every detail of the process and we get it done.

You receive:

  • Full concept exploration

  • Detailed revision rounds at each stage

  • Granular control over aesthetic decisions

  • Specialty print processes like embossing, gold foil, etc.

This is for authors who have a particular vision, and prefer involvement in the details.

Cover Design FAQ.

  • Most cover design projects are completed in 2–6 weeks depending on your selected tier, design complexity, and amount of output formats.

  • No. We design our covers in Adobe Suite, using licensed and human-made graphical elements, fonts, and images.

  • Yes. Each standard cover design package comes with exports for eBook and paperback.

    Hardcovers and additional formats (audiobook, special formats) cost a little more to add-on.
